Easy Salmon Onion Tomato Rice Balls

Now is the Term break and Gabriel is around at home. Making simple rice balls will always be my first choice when I run out of time. After I coached him on his Prep first Term Math, it is nearly lunch time, I decided to make an easy meal using can salmon with onion and tomato again, it is really very simple to prepare. I'm thinking to prepare it for next week picnic. Gabriel loves the rice balls and finished his meal...super fast!

Recipe from Ah Tze's kitchen play
1 cup of Japanese rice, wash and cook
1 tsp of salt
1 can 95g salmon with onion and tomato
1 tsp black sesame seeds
2 tbsp of dried salmon in seaweed

Method:
1. Place cooked rice in a big bowl, sprinkle with salt. Mix well.
2. Add can salmon and dried salmon in seaweed. Mix well.
3. Roll the rice into bite size balls, sprinkle with some black sesame seeds.

  1. Ah, these are the Japanese rice balls that I haven't had for a long time. The size is very cute to look at & easy to grab & pop into the mouth! My children don't eat this, otherwise I'll surely make this! What Term break? He hasn't started school yet, has he?
